| The courses we offer, including EMT School courses and training, can be taken from the comfort of your home and/or station. Upon successful completion of each course, such as Firefighter 1, for example, you will receive a certificate. Like with any training, some jurisdictions may request that you get prior approval before granting a student credit for training. All of our courses, including NFPA 1002 , have been approved through an IFSAC state which can allow for course credits, such as those for Firefighter 2 , to be to transferred to other states and Canada. All of our courses, including our EMT Basic, have been written to exceed NFPA standards — and we even offer an NFPA 1001 certification at our online fire academy.
