The EMT-P must demonstrate competency in handling emergencies utilizing all EMT Paramedic Level equipment and skills in accordance with all behavioral objectives in the DOT/EMT Paramedic curriculum. This course is formatted just like the Fire Academy and many other disciplines. The student must currently possess an EMT-Intermediate certification and will be required to take an Online Paramedic Pre Entrance Exam. Students will complete the classroom didactic portion via our blackboard system. Once the classroom portion is completed, students will come to our facility for an intensive skills session.
