The EMT-P must demonstrate competency in handling emergencies utilizing all EMT Paramedic Level equipment and skills in accordance with all behavioral objectives in the DOT/EMT Paramedic curriculum. This Paramedic School course is formatted just like the Fire Academy and many other disciplines. The student must currently possess an EMT-Basic certification and may be required to take an online Paramedic Pre Entrance Exam. Students will complete the classroom didactic portion via our blackboard system. Students have the opportunity to complete this portion whenever they have the time to do so from the comfort of their own home or office. Once the classroom portion is completed, students will come to our facility for an intensive paramedic training skills session. During this session, students will be given the time to perform and master their skills. The Paramedic program consist of two semesters, each semester consisting of a one week boot camp and then clinical rotations.
